How to Care for Patent Leather Shoes

Clean any dust or dirt with a damp cloth, , take a damp (not wet) chamois and wipe away any dust or debris that has accumulated on the shoe.

Apply a Special patent Leather Cleaner, this type of cleaner is specially formulated for all patent leathers. Use the included chamois, and apply a thick layer to the entire shoe.
If you have a black pair of patent leather shoes with any white scuffing or discoloration, the black Vernis Rife Patent Leather Leaner can be used to help recolor and shine. Otherwise, the neutral will just clean and shine.

Allow Patent Leather Cleaner 3 to 5 minutes to dry, and after that a white film will be visible on the shoe.
- 4 Step
Buff the Patent Leather to a high shine,
The last step is to buff the patent leather cleaner to a high shine using a cotton chamois. This will clean all of the dried Vernis Rife Patent Leather Cleaner off of the shoe and working up a very high-gloss shine.
